Violas provide wonderful color in the garden or window boxes in mild winter areas! And in many colder regions they pop back up as soon as snow melts.
Violas for winter cheer for the flower lover that miss having salad days in balmy wintertime areas .
I love Violas , imbed them in the Fall guarantees some vibrant , unfermented smelling blooms early in Spring . In milder winter areas you will get blooms from them all wintertime long .
They come in so many lovely colours . Violas are a full cousin to Pansys but they run to be more winter sturdy and hold up to inflame a bit good . Plus the ones I have gotten over the retiring few years will reseed themselves .

I wish to line nerve pathway with them so I can smell their sweetness as I take the air along .
I implant them in Fall , allow them doze under the snow and when temp warm they hail to sprightliness again .
When it is warmer I keep them dead manoeuvre for repeat blush and if they get too leggy I just shear them back to a few column inch tall and lease them come back .

Plant straight in the garden in well amended garden grunge next to companion plant that once it get hot will provide shade . The genus Viola will keep on blooming if irrigate moderately and given some dappled shade from the larger growing flowers .
I enjoy them planted in drifts of a particular color to make a bold statement . But they are witching anyway you prefer .
I have read of a miscellany by Proven Winners called Pansiolas that are supposedly very heat tolerant but I have yet to try them . If you have mature them rent me know how you liked them .
