Mr. Burrell influence as curator at the U.S. National Arboretum and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum . He has devoted a life-time to studying aboriginal plants in the wild and in garden , which led to undergraduate degrees in Botany and Horticulture . He has aM.S.inHorticulturefrom University of Maryland and aMaster of Landscape Architecturefrom the University of Minnesota . He is a lector in the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the University of Virginia .
