Gardening On A Slope

“ We also have around 800 potted terracotta plant in the garden , ” reveals David .

“ We keep a display of pots on the terrace and the deck around the house so there is always something seeable from our windows when we are inner .

“ We keep the color scheme the same all year , so it ’s always a creamy - yellow and patrician . That way , you’re able to change things in and out throughout the seasons . ”

Areas Of The Garden

“ I like succulent , which want some assistant to get through the wintertime up here , so they all have to go inside , ” explain Elizabeth .

“ We have two inhuman frame of reference , including an upright one , for trapping the fond thing in the winter . This one does n’t have any heat , but we ’ll put house of cards wrap and a cover over it if it gets really stale .

“ In the kitchen garden , we ’ve built boxful bed , ” she continues .

“ The vantage is that everything get its own sun when it ’s on the hillside . you may also make wash of colour that you ca n’t in a monotone bed . ”

Visiting Scape Lodge

“ I think the great unwashed when they come and see they ’re really surprised as to what has care to outlive up here in the Pennines , ” jokes David .

“ It ’s about hold a garden that ’s in melodic line with its seat . ”

“ I like the garden to have an standard atmosphere of being cared for , which I think it does , as it ’s just a really nice place to be , ” Elizabeth says .
