Recounting your own ag story is as fun as it is important.
But how do you make your chronicle reachable to those who postulate to hear it ?
My favorite mode to tell my ag fib is to use a photo . I take more about this from across the country known photographerRick McNary . Purchase Rick ’s awful bookHERE .
I recently attend Mr. McNary ’s picture taking academic term at a Farm Bureau league , where he display some of his incredible pictures showcasing rural travel and rural living .

For each photo , we were all assign to secernate our own story as if the photo was ours .
Here are some example of a few of my own pictorial matter I ’ve take the past class .
1 . I have two dogs . One big Great Pyrenees and one little beagle .

Each hot dog has a different personality . The big dog was made to defend the farm and do so with self-regard and pridefulness . He is big and strong , but gentle . His barque is defective than his bite .
The little beagle is more timid and is the mob pet . She live indoors . She loves to sniff and hunt around for rabbits , but look up to the openhanded dog as her protector . She ’s an excellent listener as she stares back with her big brown eyes .
The two dogs enjoy each other ’s company , despite their differences . They enjoy scavenging the farm and pastures for rodents and rabbits . After a long day , it ’s time to lie and they do so together .

The great Pyrenees enjoy a self-aggrandizing stretch as the little one looks on .
2 . This is about a farm daughter ’s stumble to the city .
After eating a big meal , the family goes for a walkway along the immense Missouri River .

The little one is in fear of the quick move ripples .
They in the end arrive near the Amelia Earhart Bridge . A symbol of the girl ’s hometown .
She ’s proud of her landmarks and showcases them with one big pose .

3 . This chicken is inspect the eggs in the boxes . She ’s attempt to begin to peck open an egg to get to the yolk .
egg are healthy protein food laid by chickens .
And eaten by chicken if give the chance .

This chicken is an egg eater . An egg eating chicken is a very undesirable thing to have on any farmstead . It can be prevent by diligence , but the only curative for this wont is dying .
Sad , but true .
What’s your ag story?
I think this is an incredible way to relate a personal story to the photo in a way other non - ag people could see .
