Get Started
1 . Sand your Board for the Fresh Cupcake foretoken .
2 . Paint on a layer of AmericanaDecor Chalky conclusion paint in Yesteryearor your colour of choice .

Top Coat
4 . Paint your top coating ofAmericana Decor Everlastingor a lovesome white in any stigma . you could use this with a brush or sponge it on . I used a brush this time . Be deliberate and not go back over it when wet , you will lift smirch as the crackle medium starts to work right aside . Brushing takes a bit of practice but is not hard so go beforehand and give that a attempt if you like .
The crackling appears as the paint dries .
Transfer Design

I used thePrimary Redfor Fresh andWhispering Turquoisefor Cupcake . I painted two coats of each for opacity countenance each coat dry out before tot another .
Paint Circle
6 . For the lap which the cupcake is in I used a gal can but I have included the circle in my form so it is sluttish for you .
7 . I fill in the circle with a mixture ofSandandKhakiTan . Do not blend in it in , you want the variation in colors . I did put a bit of a darker edge down at the left bottom .

8 . Center your cupcake pattern in the circle and transpose . Being the colour of the cupcake are so weak you will involve to do a few coats to get them opaque .
9 . Start with tan and paint the cupcake boundary showing between the frosting and cupcake negligee . Then add the Patrick Victor Martindale White for the wrapper and paint the cherry with Red .
apply warm gabardine for the frosting .
fill in the whirl in the ice with a scrap of tan . To do this souse the paint skirmish in the warm white then sideloading the brush with the tan and light stick to where the swirls should be . Load your copse with white and sideload with yellow . Stroke the lines on the cupcake newspaper publisher to make it look like ridge . Add detail to your cerise with a touch of Burnt Umber mixed with Primary Red , with the recession of your brush make the C contour on the cherry tree to shadow the left edge and the nerve center fold . Add just a touch of white for a spark of highlight . Then with a line drive and some Evergreen add your stem turn , if you wish well you’re able to do the stem with Burnt Umber .
To maturate the edge of the foretoken , take a rag and allude it in some water so it is damp , tap it in a sinister colour like black-market or burn umber and scratch a morsel out , then rub the rag with a finger along the edge of the star sign . This will not be even , press harder in some area to make it blue and light in others .
