×Pachysedum’Ganzhou ' is an intergeneric crossbreed possibly result from a cross betweenPachyphytum virideandSedum craigii .

×Pachysedum’Ganzhou ' is a beautiful modest succulent with bow branching from the base and bearing coloured , fingerbreadth - alike leaves with a powdery software . The stem can develop over 10 inch ( 25 cm ) long and 0.4 inches ( 1 curium ) in diameter , bend downwards and sometimes with ethereal roots . The leaf variegate in colouring from pallid pink to near magenta when young , becoming gray - greenness as they senesce . They can measure up to 2.5 inches ( 6.2 atomic number 96 ) long and 0.7 inches ( 1.7 centimeter ) astray . At first , leaves are clustered in compactrosettes , later more or less distant , easily falling off and dogged only in the upper part of the stems .
The flowers are bell shape - shaped , with pink petal and sepal , the same color as the leaves , appressed at the petals . In spring , they seem in bunch in archinginflorescences .
igniter : If you need your ×Pachysedum’Ganzhou ' to thrive , it should be exposed to lineal sunlight . The works can get in partial spectre but with slenderly gangly results . As a houseplant , keep it near a sunny window .

Soil : Good drainage is essential to keep this plant healthy . When growing it in a container , choose a well - drain soil mix and a container with drainage hole .
Temperature:×Pachysedum’Ganzhou ' will do well in hot weather condition , but its most fighting outgrowth will occur in spring and fall . It grows good inUSDA Plant Hardiness Zones10a to 11b , with average minimum wintertime temperature ranging from 30 to 50 ° F ( -1.1 to 10 ° carbon ) .
Watering : In natural spring and fall , water the plant soundly , but allow the grime to dry out before watering again . Water more sparingly in winter . During its summer dormancy , the plant does not need to be watered except in desiccated conditions .

Fertilizing : Apply fertilizer during the growing season to promote healthy development and flower yield . A water - soluble fertiliser diluted to half the recommended military posture is suitable .
Repotting:×Pachysedum’Ganzhou ' does not require frequent repotting . However , when the plant outgrow its container , repotting it in a young container with fresh soil will encourage new maturation . Repot the flora in a pot slightly large than the former one and give it a week or so to reset before you irrigate it .
generation : The soft way to circularise ×Pachysedum’Ganzhou ' is through stem cuttings . It also easily propagates from folio cuttings . Even a leaf that drops off the industrial plant will take root below the parent flora and produce a fresh one . The best time to take cut is spring .
