Giving Garden Thanks

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect, enjoy fellowship, and give thanks for what you have.

As some of us struggle to get prepared for the Thanksgiving vacation , I could n’t aid thinking about my Victory Garden . I palpate I have some thanking to do for the garden ’s succeeder , and think it would be appropriate to mention the people or things that merit credit rating .

Thanks to the sun and pelting for being the lifeline that the works call for to grow .

Thanks to sunscreen and glitch repellant for making the time outside more enjoyable .

Thanks to the C of earthworms , millions of germ , and innumerous other critter that work inexhaustibly to improve the grease and shrink my compost dozens .

Thanks to the bees that help cross-pollinate the blossoms of my love apple , cucumber and melons .

Thanks to lady bug , mantises , nematodes and other good organism for wage the on the face of it sempiternal war against disease and industrial plant damage .

Thanks to my heat mats for give my seeds a lovesome , comfy beginning .

Thanks to organic mulch in all its forms . It is sincerely the blanket and comforter my flower bed apprise .

Thanks to my cold bod for protect my transplant from the biting insensate winter .

Thanks to modest local businesses that carry an awesome selection of organic horticulture products . A green nurseryman ’s candy store .

Thanks to my trustworthy garden tools for saving my back and allow me to get my garden tasks done more efficiently .

Thanks to all the gardener in my local residential district garden . You are my extended family and green thumb mentors .

Thanks to all of the talented gardening author , writer and bloggers . Your book and berth fill our judgement with priceless knowledge .

Thanks to the employee and volunteers of the local food buttery for helping those in need yr round . You are the unsung Italian sandwich on the front line of biotic community gift .

Thanks to my dog Pal for all of his loving companionship in the garden .

Thanks to my parents for foster and supporting my gardening passion as a young lad .
