Colombia is known for its diversity of flowers and this week , they are put in the spotlight during the Proflora , hold in Bogota , Colombia . But what ’s the story behind these flowers ? We got the chance to jaw a stock breeder and a smattering of farms that contribute to the creation of this broad range of merchandise . These were BallSB , Casablanca , Inverpalmas , Flores de Serrezuela , Colombia Verde , and Rumhora . What follows is a little peek behind the scenes , later we ’ll plan to pay more tending to each of these beautiful company separately , so watch this infinite !
BallSBThe bombastic diverseness of bloom in Colombia is made possible by the breeders . BallSB , for object lesson . At their R&D facility , a large variety of flowers ( mainly fillers ) were on display . They breed genus Limonium and genus Gypsophila , are the distributor of PanAmerican Seed , but also test and circularise varieties of other stock breeder . All these varieties are displayed in beds in their showhouse , which will be visited by many people in the industriousness . We got the chance to see it first paw .

CasablancaThen Casablanca , part of Grupo Chia . On 22 ha , they grow 10 unlike intersection , but their principal intersection is the chrysanthemum , followed by summer flowers .

According to Gutierrez , making corsage is one of their strengths . They use their own efflorescence and , when needed , buy fillers and Green from other farms .

Flores de SerrezuelaAsocolflores , the Colombian tie-up of flowers exporter , organize a press tour as well . Here we had the opportunity to get acquaint with three grower , the first one being Flores de Serrezuela . This syndicate business , now head by Ricardo Samper Camacho ( second propagation ) , give rise clove pink , spray gillyflower and roses .
